1st Hope Corps is recruiting U.S. Veterans to join our AI-Jobs 4Vets closed beta as QnA Prompt Engineers. No coding required - we train and pay you to help build next-gen AI Agents for small businesses and community organizations. As a QnA Prompt Engineer you'll help train and test our (no-code) AiAutomated AI Agent Builder (no coding ever; we pay to train you). Apply now by clicking the "Apply Closed Beta" button below.
What you’ll do in the AI-Jobs 4Vets closed beta testing (Sept start)
The closed beta testing of AI-Jobs 4Vets will run in three stages, including skills survey, hands-on training, beta testing, and OJT to make sure our AI technology works smoothly for Veterans. Stage One. Introduction - Readiness Survey (2-hrs): This stage introduces you to the 1st Hope Corps and its AI technology. You’ll receive a familiarization with 1st Hope Corps, our mission, and the AI-Jobs 4Vets program. This stage also assesses basic PC and keyboard skills including Google search and copy and paste, etc., helping both you and us determine if 1st Hope is the right fit. This stage is supportive and easy to complete, even if you have limited tech experience. Stage Two. Website & Avatar UX Testing (1.5-hrs): You’ll help us beta test the user interface and user experience of the 1st Hope Corps website and our virtual human avatar. Your feedback will ensure that everything is clear, easy to navigate, and compelling for future Veterans. You’ll play the role of both tester and advisor, helping us polish the look and feel so that it’s not only functional but also engaging and Veteran-friendly. Stage Three. Bot Boot Camp & OJT (12-hrs): During this stage, you’ll be introduced to QnA Prompt Engineering, the hands-on process of turning real-world content into AI-LLM-friendly questions and answers, knowledge that powers an AI Agent. Using our AiAutomated AI Agent Builder, you’ll learn how to create, test, and refine QnA prompts to build a functional knowledge base for an entry-level AI Agent. No coding is required - you’ll be guided step by step through exercises that give you practical, on-the-job-ready AI skills.

Benefits & Compensation
Stage One. Introduction - Readiness Survey: Veterans participating in this stage will be welcomed with complimentary snacks and drinks during the on-site orientation and survey.
Stage Two. Website & Avatar UX Testing: Veterans will receive a restaurant chain gift card for a complimentary meal as a thank you for completing this stage.
Stage Three. Bot Boot Camp & OJT: Veterans receive paid training that includes 8 hours at $15/hour during AiAutomated familiarization, plus 4 hours at $25/hour on-the-job training (OJT) in QnA Prompt Engineering. Veterans who complete the training are eligible to apply as patron members of the 1st Hope Corps cooperative and can continue as AI-Jobs 4Vets apprentices, starting at $25/hour as independent contractors with flexible, part-time, remote work arrangements.
